Compulsory quarantine partly abolished when vaccinated as per 22 September

As per 22nd of September a compulsory quarantine of 10 days will be abolished for passengers coming from very high-risk countries (e.g. currently USA or UK) when able to prove they were completely vaccinated. The EU-entry restriction has been lifted. Passengers coming from such destinations however still need to fill-out a quarantine form but can tick the box of being exempted due to being fully vaccinated.

BARIN and IATA send letter to Justice Minister Grapperhaus on European Entry/Exit System (EES)

In a joint industry letter BARIN and IATA called upon Minister Grapperhaus of Justice and Security to delay the implementation EES according to EU-regulation 2226/2017. This new Entry and Exit System at European border controls is to be implemented as per May 2022, however the current state of our industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic urges for a delay.
